Rosie

What a great Giveaway Katiecakes!! I would just L-O-V-E to own this book!! Thank you for the chance to win :0)

My ingredient would have to be beetroot because I have been pondering on making a red velvet cake without all the red colouring. Hopefully the beetroot would stain the sponge enough and with veggies included it’s got to be healthy don’t you think ???

Congratulations Rosie, mail me your details and the book will soon be winging it's way to you!

Also, I'm so sorry I haven't yet posted my SMS for this week. My weekend was super hectic and I've suddenly been struck down with a dreadful cold. I promise it will be up as soon as possible :(

Oops, looks like I left it too late! Quinoa flour is probably the most unusal ingredient I've used so far - but I'm working on it!

Hi Katie!

I just wanted to check up on you and see how you were feeling? I really hope you're on the mend and have conquered your cold. I've been under the weather with the flu for the last two weeks, so I definitely empathize.

Please be sure to rest up and drink lots of fluids :) I look forward to reading your SMS post when you're feeling a bit stronger! Sending you lots of get well wishes from across the pond!

<3,
Joy

Joy, you always leave the sweetest comments! Thank you so much for the well wishes.

I'm on the mend, feeling much better so I'm gonna get to it in the kitchen tomorrow and aim to have to post up by tea time :) I've been really looking forward to this one, stupid cold forcing me to be late!

Oh dear, sounds like someone should be baking for YOU for once..!! Congrats on your first giveaway! (I only hope to get to that stage someday, your blog is such an inspiration.. and just such a gorgeous place to lose myself while I try to avoid the masses of work I've got piling up, haha.. Lemme know if the cold insists on keeping you from whipping up the Banana Apple Bread - I'm happy to send my loaf over, we're only a few cities away i think and sweet bakes heal anything, I'm sure of it.. although I warn you that my loaf isn't near as attractive as your SMS treats always look! x

You must tell me what you plan to bake first! Despite me almost wetting myself to buy it, i've never actually made anything from it :S
