When I was recently contacted by Find me a Gift to try out one of their novelty baking products I jumped at the chance.  You know me, anything a bit out of the ordinary and I'm there with bells on.  Sadly for me, the products they stocked were products I already owned, so I decided to turn my thoughts to you, dear readers.  Aren't I kind?!

I went for these awesome Tea Cup Cupcake Moulds which I originally used in my Cameo Cupcakes post.  They really are super sweet little things, dainty and cute, just like their owner.... I jest, I jest!

Did I tell you?

I think I may have forgotten to mention.  One of my recipes has been featured in a real life cook book, one you can actually buy on the shelves of real shops.  How exciting!

The wonderful Thinkfood cookbook is filled with brain fueling recipes to really get your mind working at it's fullest capacity!  The book is filled with awesome recipes fro some of the best foodies on the bloggesphere and I even have an extra copy for my you, my darling readers.  My recipe is filled with brain boosting cranberries and pecan nuts. The perfect breakfast muffin to get your day started. Especially in the current climate :)

Home Sweet Home

Boy it really is nice to be cold again!  After spending the last two weeks baking in the intense Floridian heat it's amazing to be back home and thrust straight into woolly tights weather.  Autumn, I've missed you!

But, I've got a surprise for you.  This isn't just a regular blog post with me waxing lyrical about whichever cupcake I've baked this week; oh no this one is special, this one is a give away!  That's right, I've got a delicious prize for one of you lovely folk who tune in to read my idiotic ramblings, just 'cause I love 'ya!  So here it is, just in time for Christmas, an yumtastic milk chocolate advent calendar straight from the shelves of one of my favorite shops Hotel Chocolat!

Pay it Forward Giveaway!

As I mentioned in my last post, I've been on a lucky streak recently!  Considering I am usually such an unlucky person, this is quite a welcome change.  My normal day to day life pretty much consists of various embarrassing, clumsy and just plain annoying incidents followed by me whining about said incidents to whoever I can coarse into listening.  It really is rather nice to have something other than 'oh I fell down a hole today' to talk about.
 

One of those lovely little blessings was winning a wonderful competition over at Tinned Tomatoes.  The contest was named Pay it Forward and is quite a unique little idea as by winning you've agreed to pay your good fortune forward.  I was lucky enough to win this delicious package of Scottish themed treats from Jacqueline containing loads of mouth watering goodies!

The butter tablet lasted all of 5 minutes after this photograph was taken :)

I love the coasters.  I took them to work for Kris and myself and they've received a lot of laughs from our north of the border customers.

I can't wait to try this sauce out.  Doesn't whiskey sauce just sound divine?!
